Equine Guided Leadership Coaching

I've always been a confident person and in touch with my feelings, but I found myself in a dark and very unsettled place and I didn't know what to do.  I found Elizabeth after a lot of self-help attempts and working with a couple of other professionals that were not able to help me.  From our initial consultation I knew Elizabeth was someone I could talk to, and I was hopeful she could he help me.

We spent a lot time working through gender identity topics I never expected to share with anyone, and she helped me find a part of me that I didn't even know existed.  It's taken some time and a lot of hard work, but I feel whole.  I feel good.  I wasn't sure I'd ever feel good again.

Elizabeth is caring, completely non-judgmental, and genuinely interested in me and my well-being.  She brings a broad wealth of knowledge, experience, and tools.  I don't know where I'd be without her right now.

Thank you Elizabeth.

Ever since my first journey with Elizabeth, I have sung her praises - despite my initial skepticism. She is exceptionally attuned. She adeptly understood what I was seeking to remedy, and through her most skillfully guided journeys I was able to drop every old piece of heavy baggage I’d been lugging around. Every journey was a great step forward. Working with her is like opening the windows—no the doors, and letting in fresh air. I am grateful. She is like a good guide through the wilderness!

Elizabeth is an unusually perceptive healer who uses her intuition, and well-developed skills in Depth Hypnosis, Applied Shamanism, and Shamanic Counseling to facilitate a personal healing journey. This journey will take you to places where you need to let go of limitations that get in the way of knowing your true self and finding your life’s purpose.

I am a trauma survivor of severe child abuse, and have used several different therapeutic modalities in my healing journey. I believe that the process Elizabeth uses takes you deeper into your soul, into the most tightly woven wounds. The process also provides you with personal guides that are always available for guidance. You only have to ask them to help!

I feel very privileged to have been able to work with Elizabeth on my healing journey.  Elizabeth is an intuitive, deeply attentive, and insightful healer who brings true authenticity to her practice. As a childhood trauma survivor, I have spent years doing therapeutic and spiritual work to find healing. Through Elizabeth’s skills with Depth Hypnosis and Shamanic Counseling, I have found new depth in this healing process. She has gently and intuitively led me to places that I have never been before, and given me tools that have allowed me to develop a stronger connection with my spiritual guide. My work with Elizabeth has been empowering and growthful ~ she has challenged me to become more authentic and true to myself. I am deeply grateful for this work, and for the unique gifts that Elizabeth has shared with me.

I worked with Elizabeth as a shamanic counselor and was able to work on an important issue in my life and get powerful results in a short period of time. As a shamanic counselor, Elizabeth was able to work with me in a different way than a traditional counselor. She taught me how to use the shamanic journey to ask important questions and guide the process of discovering deeper wisdom in my life. I would highly recommend her as a shamanic counselor.

Like the butterfly, the ladybug also dissolves itself completely inside a chrysalis before reemerging — reformed, spotted, whole. Nature has been rehearsing transformation for billions of years before we ever gave it a name. As biologist Janine Benyus put it, once we see nature as a mentor, our relationship with the living world changes.

The two testimonials below reflect equine-assisted work from earlier in my practice. This modality is not currently offered.

I came to Elizabeth through my doctor’s referral, having been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.  My condition led the doctor to believe that somatic therapy would be helpful in getting more in touch with my emotions and into my body where energy was “stuck.” Elizabeth’s guidance from the beginning was very focused, gentle and respectful, allowing me to open to her and to the horses— and to my own inner knowing, in a deep and grounding way. It was clear that she thought about what my needs were in between sessions as well. She always came prepared with new ways of working that allowed me to really sense the horses’ energies and enabled me to open myself fully to the process. She is a gifted and delightful counselor and teacher.  I learned a lot from her and I continue to practice the exercises she gave me which are so very helpful in daily life.

Recently I had the honor of a somatic and equine-assisted coaching session with Elizabeth. I came away reeling with a deep joy and a much stronger connection to my inner knowing.

Elizabeth is insightful, intuitive, and empathetic, and deeply connects with her clients as well as her horse herd. We spoke for a long time before our session so she could get a true sense of what I wanted to work on — and when we met, she was well prepared. I felt like I had a true partner in the experience.

I hadn't been around horses in a long time and was uneasy at first, but that discomfort soon vanished. Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought of that experience. Along with something spiritual, I also came away with tools I still use to grow, change, and heal.
